Tento projekt má za cieľ predovšetkým zlepšiť povedomie o netopieroch a ich ochranu v cezhraničnom regióne. Aktivity projektu sú zamerané na identifikáciu miest s vysokou diverzitou netopierov, úpravu podzemných priestorov a realizáciu prednášok a kurzu o netopieroch pre deti a verejnosť.
Aktivitami nadväzujeme na dlhodobú činnosť jednotlivých mimovládnych organizácií v regióne. Podpora zo strany Višehrádskeho fondu nám umožní pozdvihnúť ich na vyššiu úroveň a zintenzívniť verejnoprospešnú činnosť. Všetky informácie o priebehu projektu nájdete na tomto mieste.

| Common monitoring of wintering bats in Austria |
We start the project "Bats and people in the Danube region" in collaboration with partners from Hungary (Vénic Nature Conservation Foundation) and from Austria (KFFÖ) since February. With this project, we want to achieve better interconnection of local residents with the protection of bats. The project will last from 1/2/2018 to 30/4/2019 with the financial support of the Visegradfund.
This project has the aim especially to improve the awareness about bats and their conservation in the cross-border region. Activities of the project are aimed on the sites identification with high bat diversity, improvement of underground spaces and the realization of the course and presentations about bats for the children and public.
We continue in the long-term activity of the non-governmental organisations in the region. The support from the Visegradfund will allow us to continue in activities on higher level.
